You don't have to be born under a wandering star to have a desire for change and discovery. Travel is about adventures, misadventures, and making memories: all of which adds to our growth. The goal of this blog is to offer personal insights into travel through stories, anecdotes, photos, advice, and suggestions.

I was born into a family smitten by wanderlust. Although I was an "Army brat," my travels occurred mostly during my twenty-two years as a U.S. Army photojournalist. As a soldier, my job took me to most of the states, including Hawaii, every country in Central America, Peru and Bolivia in South America, Korea, Japan/Okinawa, the Philippines, and Kuwait. Personal travels have taken me to Europe and throughout the Caribbean and to Europe. I retired in the year 2000 and my wanderlust has remained constant.
